What is in the bottle:
One ingredient: Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, cold-pressed from raw argan kernels and left unrefined. Nothing is added, no carrier oil, no fragrance, no preservative, so the oil keeps the vitamin E and unsaturated fatty acids that make it worth using in the first place.
You can check this when the bottle arrives. The oil is pale yellow, with a faint nutty note that fades a few minutes after application. On skin it should sink in within minutes and leave no film. A darker colour or a roasted smell is the sign of culinary argan oil, which is a different product made from roasted kernels.
How we prove our Argan Oil is Pure
“100% pure” is printed on a lot of argan bottles. Here is what stands behind it on ours.
- One line on the INCI: The ingredient list reads Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil and stops. A second ingredient of any kind means the oil has been cut.
- Pressed without heat: Cold pressing keeps the tocopherols and fatty acids that heat and solvent extraction reduce. The oil is then left to settle rather than filtered with chemical agents.Made by us, at
- Origin: Green Mood presses and bottles this oil at its own certified facility in the Souss-Massa region. You buy from the maker, and each batch is traceable to its pressing.
- Audited, not only labelled: The facility holds ISO 22716 (cosmetic good manufacturing practice) and HACCP certification; the oil carries USDA, AB and CCPB organic certification. The certificates are on our certifications page.
How to use our Pure Argan Oil
- Face 2 to 3 drops pressed into clean, slightly damp skin, morning or evening, on its own or mixed into your cream. Oily or combination skin: 1 to 2 drops, evening only.
- Hair 2 to 4 drops warmed between the palms and worked into the ends of dry hair. For a deeper treatment, a generous amount on the lengths for 30 minutes before shampooing.
- Body a few drops on damp skin after the shower, starting with elbows, knees and heels.
- Nails one drop per nail, massaged into the cuticle at night.

Is Green Mood argan oil really 100% pure?
Yes. The INCI is a single line, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil. The oil is cold-pressed and unrefined, with no added oil, fragrance or preservative. It is made and bottled at our own certified facility in Morocco.
Is it organic?
Yes. The oil carries USDA Organic, AB (Agriculture Biologique) and CCPB organic certification, and the facility is ISO 22716 and HACCP certified. Copies of the certificates are on our certifications page.
Which size should I choose?
50 ml if you will use it on the face only, or want to try it first. 100 ml if you will use it on face, hair and body. At 2 to 3 drops a day for the face, a 100 ml bottle lasts around three to four months.
Can I use it on my face if my skin is oily?
The texture is light and absorbs quickly, and many customers with combination or oily skin use 1 to 2 drops in the evening. If your skin tends to react to oils, start with one drop on a small area and see how it behaves over a few days.
Do you ship worldwide, and how long does delivery take?
Yes, every order ships from Morocco. Delivery typically takes 5 to 10 business days to Europe and 7 to 14 to North America; other regions can take longer. Shipping is free on orders above 150 €.
Can I cook with this oil?
No. This is the cosmetic grade, pressed from raw kernels, and it is not made for consumption. Culinary argan oil is pressed from roasted kernels and sold separately as Culinary Argan Oil, 100 ml.

thank you for the quality of this oil, it works wonder on my hair. just got it like 10 days ago and altho it took around 10 days to get to the US, it is def worth it. the scented hibiscus oil is mazaing as well, god bless
