MOROCCAN HAIR RITUAL
Hair Masks: Deep Repair the Moroccan Way
A hair mask is the step that shampoo and conditioner cannot replace: a concentrated treatment that stays on long enough to nourish the hair fiber in depth, not just coat its surface.
In Morocco, deep hair care has always relied on argan oil — applied generously, left to work, then rinsed to reveal soft, supple, shiny hair. Our hair mask captures that ritual in a ready-to-use treatment: cold-pressed Moroccan argan oil in a rich, rinse-off formula designed for dry, damaged, color-treated or simply tired hair.
The Argan Oil Hair Mask
Argan Oil Hair Mask
An intensive Moroccan repair mask built around cold-pressed argan oil, naturally rich in vitamin E and essential fatty acids. It nourishes the fiber from within, smooths the cuticle, and helps restore softness and shine wash after wash.
- Deep nutrition for dry, damaged or brittle hair
- Smooths frizz and improves manageability
- Helps protect lengths from breakage and split ends
- Suitable for all hair types, including color-treated hair
- Made in Morocco with certified organic argan oil
Why Argan Oil for Hair?
Argan oil has earned its place at the heart of Moroccan hair care for measurable reasons. It is naturally rich in vitamin E and in oleic and linoleic acids — lipids close to those found in the hair's own protective layer. This affinity lets it penetrate the fiber rather than simply sit on top of it.
Nutrition without heaviness
Unlike heavier butters, argan oil nourishes deeply while remaining light, so even fine hair keeps its volume after rinsing.
Smoothness and shine
By helping the cuticle lie flat, an argan oil hair mask leaves lengths smoother to the touch and visibly shinier — the well-known "Moroccan hair" finish.
Protection over time
Regular deep conditioning helps limit breakage and split ends caused by heat styling, coloring and daily brushing.
How to Use a Hair Mask
- Shampoo first. A mask works on clean hair: wash with a gentle shampoo and squeeze out excess water.
- Apply to lengths and ends. Work a generous amount from mid-length down, where hair is oldest and driest. Avoid the roots if your scalp is oily.
- Let it work. Leave for 10 to 30 minutes. For an intensive treatment, wrap hair in a warm towel to help the mask penetrate.
- Rinse thoroughly. Rinse with lukewarm water until the hair feels clean, finishing with a cooler rinse to seal the cuticle.
- Seal with oil. On dry or towel-dried hair, smooth two to three drops of argan oil over the ends to lock in the result.
Once a week is right for most hair; very dry or damaged hair can benefit from two applications per week for the first month.

Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I use a hair mask?
Once a week suits most hair types. Very dry, damaged or color-treated hair can start with two applications per week for the first month, then return to a weekly rhythm as the fiber recovers.
Hair mask or conditioner — what is the difference?
A conditioner works on the surface in one or two minutes, mainly to detangle and smooth. A hair mask is more concentrated and stays on for 10 to 30 minutes, nourishing the fiber in depth. They complement each other: conditioner at every wash, mask once a week.
Do I apply a hair mask before or after shampoo?
After. Clean, damp hair absorbs the treatment best. The exception is a pre-wash oil bath — pure argan oil applied 30 minutes before shampooing — which works alongside, not instead of, a weekly mask.
Is an argan oil hair mask suitable for fine or oily hair?
Yes, with one adjustment: apply from mid-length to the ends and keep the mask off the roots. Argan oil is light by nature, so lengths stay nourished without the roots losing volume.
Can I use it on color-treated hair?
Yes. Deep nutrition is particularly useful after coloring, which tends to dry the fiber. The mask contains no harsh chemicals and helps keep colored hair smooth and shiny.
What can I combine the mask with for better results?
Pair it with a gentle shampoo and finish with a few drops of argan oil on the ends. Our pure argan oil doubles as a finishing hair oil and a skin treatment.
